Why switch

A finance team for a fraction of the cost.

Hiring in-house means a CFO, a controller, and a bookkeeper. Six figures each, plus benefits and equity. Peregrine replaces the whole team for a flat monthly fee, with senior CPA sign-off on every output.

Hiring in-house

How we work

Books that keep up with your business.

AI agents reconcile every day. A senior operator signs every output. Software speed, partner judgement.

01 · Accuracy

Continuous close. Senior sign-off.

Reconciled the day a transaction lands, not at month-end. Every output is reviewed and signed by a CPA-level operator before it leaves our hands.

FAQ

The things everyone asks first.

What if my books are a mess today?
Most arrive with 6–24 months of catch-up. We clean it up during onboarding, then switch you to continuous. Catch-up is quoted as a fixed project so you know the number before we start.
Do you actually join investor calls?
Yes. On Books + CFO and Fundraise, a senior operator joins diligence calls. We answer on the numbers; you stay focused on the story.
What does "AI agents, signed off by humans" actually mean?
Agents categorize, reconcile, and draft. A senior CPA-level operator reviews and signs every output. You never get a number that hasn't been through a human's eyes.
Why not just hire a Controller in-house?
A Controller is $180K+ all-in for one role. Peregrine is a team (books, close, CFO, fundraise) for less. When you do hire in-house, we transition cleanly.
What if we don't raise this year?
Fundraise-readiness is a habit, not a project. Diligence-clean every month means a 48-hour data-room export, not a 6-week sprint, whenever the moment comes.
